![]() ![]() Thanks so much for any insight! Oh, and how can I make my paragraphs show up in my posts? (I can be long winded and don't want people facing walls of text, lol). You can expand these available outputs by clicking the down arrow on Vienna Ensemble and choosing'Expand'. Outputs 12 are automatically assigned to your Vienna Ensemble Pro instance. So if I want one VI frame that contains all my string libraries, I'd need access to quite of a few midi channels/ports.but I'd like to have each of those on it's own output. Create as many MIDI (instrument) tracks as you need in Studio One. So effectivley, I have to reuse the stereo outs for every set of midi channels/ports.IF I am understanding this correctly that is.ĭoesn't that defeat the purpose of being able to access a huge amount of midi channels? How do you get around this without having to connect to another VI frame? My main goal is to have my VI frames sorted by section. So when I play my 17th instance, it's coming though output channel 1/2 of Cubase. But I'm still stuck with the same output options as those channels assigned to port 1. I just created a 17th instance inside of VEP. I'm just not clear on one thing:Īfter my first 16 midi channels are filled up in my VI frame (one per instance) I have used up all 16 stereo outs that VEP 5 has (each instance assigned to it's own output, in other words). ![]() Once I learned I had to create midi tracks for each of my instances in a VI frame it all was quite easy. Let me start off by thanking VSL support for the help on figuring out how to use VEP5 and Cubase.
